We have done three projects on this farm in southwest Chatham County. The first was a combination dog kennel/farm office. It includes a full bath and a small kitchen. The owners’ eight rescue dogs seem to like their new home. We also renovated an old milking barn into a “party barn” modeled on the one at Fearrington. While still rustic, it includes new windows, new doors made from roughsawn oak boards found on the farm, new lighting, and a brick paver floor.
Most recently, we have done a major renovation/ addition. It includes a large farmhouse kitchen with heart pine floors, salvaged oak beams, and cabinetry by Aventine and Holly Gulch.
